We are a young-and-dynamic technology driven team at YATRI Design Studio. The biggest competitive advantage of the startup is the in-house engineering knowledge of the complete product life-cycle and extensive experience in composites manufacturing within aerospace and automotive domain.
However, our biggest expertise within the cycle is the knowledge of advanced composites engineering, 3D modeling of the complete system, designing and manufacturing of composite sandwich structures, Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis of components for validation, rapid prototyping using 3D-printed parts, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) tooling. This enables us to manufacture high-quality premium products with the tightest of tolerances.
The Composites department aims to set a benchmark in engineering and composite manufacturing technology. We want to achieve this by creating products with the highest standard in aesthetics, performance and user experience.
VELOX's design incorporates carbon fibre reinforced composite in more than 90% of its body. This extensive usage of composites in chassis and body panels allows to create a product with an exceptional power-to-weight ratio.
This not only affects the performance of the motorcycle but also allows the design team to be more creative resulting a much more aesthetically pleasing product.
